Snow! We went to Lizard Head Pass near Telluride and it was snowing. Then we went to Telluride and had more snow. Fortunately the ground was too warm for any of it to stick. We rode the gondolas several times in Telluride to get to the different places we wanted to visit. Jayden insisted that I carry her into and off of the gondolas. She enjoyed the rides and the views of the town and the mountains, but she didn't like the entry and exit. She called off the numbers of all the other gondolas we passed. We saw several dogs riding in different gondolas. We also saw many gondolas with bicycles hanging on the bike rack at the back of each car. It's a well-designed system to let people move around the area.
As we were driving back home, we saw that the mountains east of Ouray were covered with a light dusting of snow. Mountains look exceptionally pretty after their first covering of snow. It leaves lots of rocks showing to contrast with the snow.
